At Wild Solutions, we bring you the nourishment of the forest with our ethically harvested wild Chaga teas. We are outdoorsy folk who believe that nature provides the very best solutions for wholesome and happy living! We love to explore and we personally harvest all of our goods in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence and Boreal forest regions of Northern Ontario.<\/p>\n

We cherish our relationship with the natural world, so we tread lightly upon the land and gather gently, with gratitude. We are dedicated to using sustainable practices every step of the way, from tree to tea.\u00a0 We strive to expand our knowledge of the ecosystems that we explore and continue to implement new ways of increasing our energy efficiency while decreasing our dependence on non-renewable resources.<\/p>\n

In order to find the forests that have been least compromised by human activity, we travel on foot in the backcountry to areas with difficult access.\u00a0 Instead of keeping a large stock, we harvest according to the orders we receive. This ensures that our wild edibles are always the freshest and most nutrient-rich.\u00a0\u00a0We use manual harvesting and crushing tools and carefully air and sun dry our goods. We blend our wild teas by hand and package our goods in 100% compostable, cellulose-lined Kraft bags.<\/p>\n

Motivated by our love of the outdoors and our passion for exploration, we live simply and in harmony with nature, which allows us the time and space to do what we love!

We are Drea and Braidy and some of our favourite things include backpacking, skiing, paddling, sailing, camping, spontaneous travels, conservation and stewardship, natural gardening\/permaculture, recycling and re-purposing, natural building, renewable energy, exploring old paths and breaking new trails, building ice castles, making music, sharing outdoor adventures with others, building campsites with found objects, connecting with communities and finding new ways to think about old ideas~We look forward to aligning with others and working towards common goals!<\/p>\n
